What's it worth?

Daughter-in-laws dad passed away recently. Have a chance to buy his 2003 F150 (Lariat?). 45,000 miles. Very nice unit!!!!!

How much should I pay?

Thanks,

Jim

I'd also be curious on location of truck too. If it's rust belt it might be rough shape after 15 winters

It's a SuperCrew; 4WD; 5.4l; Auto Trans. It's from MN, but rust-free and 45,000 mi. It's perfect.

I would take a look at it underneath before I declared it rust free. The radiator support is a typical place to look for rust.

I have owned several '97s-2003s, so I know all about rust in these vintage trucks.

Not sure yet; just looking for ammunition to negotiate with.

Yes, it's a real creampuff. Have no idea what they're gonna ask for it, but anything under $10K and I'm in.

I just went thru this.
2005 Dodge Ram with 39k, 80 year old owner passed away.
Saw it the first day and offered $10k. Told the guy to put my offer in his back pocket and if he could get more fine.

He called today and I got it.
My Ford is going on the market.
Never thought I'd sell it after 18 years but it's 2wd and we are moving to NH.

My hotdog days are over.
4.7L SLT Regular Cab 4x4 short bed.
It's like my Ford except no leather.

The only problem I forsee is the old guy put a draw bar in the hitch 12 years ago.
I couldn't even budge the pin.
I have a small trailer which will need my multi drop draw bar.
I'm probably looking at many doses of PB Blaster.

Some guys get lucky! Congrats.

Going to try to get more info and a picture of the truck to post up.
