want more power
I have a 97 5.4 2 valve...I have done true dual exhaust with 40 series Flowmasters....cold air intathrottle body spacer....electric fans....accel super coils....I know a programer is definitely a good way to go...I was thinking about using a lightning super charger but since lightings I'm pretty sure weren't made in 97 Im not a 100% if it would bolt up...I was also thinking of putting in iridium plugs and increasing the plug gap since I have higher volt and more km from the coils...any body know if this will work

So, you are willing to dump tons of $$ into stuff that really does nothing for you?? All of that stuff you added still does not come close to my stock hp/tq numbers...
Your best best bet would be to SC it... All that other stuff you have is just profits for the businesses you bought them from.. A tuner would be your next best bang for the buck.
That dual exhaust/flowmaster combo is a low end torque killer, but I'm sure it wakes the neighbors a mile away!

You lightened your wallet that's for sure. throttle body spacers do nothing on fuel injected vehicles that's an over sized paper weight.
Accel cops may as well be a big downgrade they can't even compare to stock.
increasing the plug gap and running thosr plugs will lose you power.
CAI aka warm air intakes might net you 7 horse and that's after a true custom tune.
true duals isn't helping you unless you happen to be running an X pipe.
those chambered Fartmasters are actually restricting flow and causing you to lose low end torque.
must I go on? do your research before spending money it would have saved you a ton....
now on to power adders.
you already have E-fans so that's a plus.
go back to motorcraft cops and motorcraft plugs.
ditch fartmasters for a straight thru design muffler. (Borla)
long tube headers and X pipe to finish your exhaust.
Full PI intake, heads, and cam swap should net you a decent gain.
then get yourself some custom tunes from 5 star tuning or more power tuning.
and last full lightning supercharger swap. about $2000-$3000 expense....
did I miss anything?

While both of you are quick to nock everything I've already done...believe it or not with out the exhaust all the other parts that didn't cost that much there was a noticeable difference when I first got the Nov....I run quicker times now.....I'm gathering that a sc from a lightning will work..

Your 97 5.4 has the NON PI heads, so I don't think anything from a 02 5.4 will work with your heads.
I had a Gibson on my 97, but swapped it for a straight thru muffler (flo-pro) and it made a difference on the low end. That's where I want my power for towing my TT.
But, I gotta say, my little V6 walks all over that old 5.4 in every way..
Just say'n...

If you got the heads off of that 02 Lightning as well as the intake and blower and all the other stuff that goes with it, you could make it happen... But, if you were getting all that stuff, you might as well just get the whole dang engine... Unless the bottom end was blown out of it, for the reason of getting the other stuff??
Anyway, there was a guy on here called NEAL and he built up a pretty stout 5.4 without using boost of any kind, but he did go to the PI heads and a bunch of other stuff...
Cost him a lot of $$ too...
You can make anything have more power with enough $$..

A lightning swap is what I have been thinking about all I want is to haul *** off road I'm not looking to drag at a strip the truck is a 4x4 but thanks for all the advice and as far as the money I will spend what I have to I love this body style...just so I understand doing a lightning swap from a 02 to my 97 is plug and play?
