New Here! (Sort of)
I am now the proud owner of a 1999 F-150 4x4. I had been driving a 2003 Ranger Edge (my first vehicle at 16). My dad had the 1999 for almost 2 years and has been wanting a 2004-2008 supercrew F-150 for quite some time and now had the means to get one. So I let him trade my Ranger in on his new truck and I am going to make the payments on his 1999. He only paid $5500 for it 2 years ago with only 45,000 miles .It has 69,000 on it now. It does have some hail damage on the hood and roof. Other things it needs is new headlights (lenses are discolored and I can't see good driving at night). I plan on painting the faded grille shell and the step bars too. Also the back window has a leak and I haven't decided how I'm going to fix that yet. I will try to get pics up tomorrow since I had my wisdom teeth removed today.

Side not, watch out for Patman, he's like the mad scientist around here and his ideas could lead to you wanting to spend a lot of money.

Yeah it's kinda funny but I'm a little familiar with some of the members of this site and their trucks. I've been lurking around here for quite a while and have gained some valuable knowledge. More than likely I've spent more time on here than on the Ranger Forum. I'm gonna try to make it outside for some pics shortly.

If you don't want to buy new headlights, try the 3M Headlight Restoration Kit. It's like $15 from Walmart and all you need is a decent drill. Just did it to my headlights and the results were quite amazing. My headlights weren't even to the point of yellowing, they were just pitted, rough and a little faded so I honestly wasn't even expecting to see a difference but now they look brand new and even make my truck look newer.

Seriously? I may jump all over those! I was gonna repaint mine but if you are offering those I may go that route! Gatlinburg is only about 100 miles from me.
