Note- the only difference between the Bigsert and the Triton Timesert is that the Triton Timesert has internal threads on the bottom half of the insert, while the Bigsert has full internal threads. Externally, these inserts are identical. The leftmost item is an old Helicoil.

This shows a caliper measurement of the OD of the Timesert reaming tool. It's about 16.3 mm.

Measuring depth from top of head to top of cylinder - bottom of plug threads. The insert should extend now lower than this.

Front of cab bottom where ebrake cable goes into cab. The hole at right in the picture is open into the cab. Running board at bottom is pretty solidly held, some there is still some framing there. I need to plug the hole. bv

Front of cab bottom showing brake cable at top and part of running board bolts. There is a hole in the the cab body into the rocker panel area. The stuff hanging down appears to be an earlier rocker panel repair. I haven't taken off the running boards yet, but some of the rockers seem to be OK, other part not good at all.

Third from front picture showing cab bottom and running board hangars. This part seems pretty solid, except for the obvious rocker panel repair.

Rear end of driver's side running board and bottom of cab. This part looks pretty good, again with the exception of the rocker panel.
