I got a few e-mails about how I did those LEDs in the console. I can write e-mails all day...but I think I can explain better with a picture. When I took apart my console, there were two wires going to the 12V plug ("cigarette lighter"). One black and one, I think, was purple. Each LED came packaged with a red and black lead. And the switch in this drawing is the normally-closed push-button switch (P/N 275-1548, $3.49/4-pack @ RadioShack). A 10 Amp fuse was suggested by the LED manufacturer. At first, I thought it was actually too bright so I put in a 7.5 amp and it is just right! I hope this helps...but feel free to e-mail me with questions!
