Abs
Hey guys,
I was driving along yesterday when I noticed the ABS lite on.
I did a litle test to see if the ABS worked or not, nope it stopped workin...So i just kept driving....and then it went back off, now it has been going on and off every day, but when the light comes on, I loose my ABS...Any ideas why? Is the V.S.S sensor going out, or leaking gear lube into it?

it is normal operation for the abs sytem to become inop when the light is on, rear speed sensor is always most common cause (vss). I f the light is coming on and off while driving it is probably wiring or? to module, need someone with an ngs scan tool if that is the case (dealer)

Oh well I wil get down to Ford soon and pick one up for 4 bucks...and it should solve my problem...
I have a cousin that is s service tech @ Ford and he has brought their scan tool over, damn I checked all my stuff out...anyways Thanks for your input Tea3tx
