Are there different factory lugnuts for steel and aluminum rims? If I replace the factory aluminum rims on my '97 with steel rims from a later model truck would I need different lugnuts? I've read about the diffs in stud diameter and possible difficulties keeping the center caps on but I'm more interested in knowing if the lugnuts are physically different for the factory steel rims on these trucks. Do the steel rims use the integrated nut/washer combo? Want to know if I would have to buy lugnuts before I bid on the wheels...
