Aluminum Wheels

I have the stock 16" aluminum rims on my '01 SC 150. I washed vehicle at a local car wash and sprayed rims with the wheel/engine green colored cleaner. I never noticed before but now the wheels have some white stains that I haven't noticed before. Any suggestions on removing or polishing out wheels to remove stains? Thanks,

The best I've ever found is Mothers clearcoat wheel polish! It made my stock 16's look like the paint was wet! It gets rid of the rim cleaner white drip marks with ease. I can't say enough good things about it. Comes in a smaller sized red bottle.,,,,98

No problem! I was shopping the auto parts store one day, and decided to try it. The wheels were slick afterwards too, like they had been waxed. It's the only thing I'm going to use on my FX-4 rims, when I put them on in January that is.,,,,98

You gotta be careful cleaning aluminum wheels that are clear-coted. You don't want to use a strong acidic cleaner on them or the clear will haze and crack.....

Good point! I only use Eagle One A2Z wheel cleaner, and I NEVER leave it on as long as they say to. Max is about 20 seconds per wheel, in my driveway anyway,,,,98
