brake sensor questions

Gotta 97 F150 4x4 with 4 wheel ABS. Noticed two sensors on the master cylinder. Wondered a few things about them. Seems to be the one on the bottom side of the reservior is a brake fluid level sensor. Does this mean if the brake system was low on fluid it would light the ABS or the MIL light? The second sensor on top front of the master sylinder is what I think is a brake fluid pressure sensor. What does this sensor do? It must have some connection to the crusie system becasue if you try to buy a master cylinder there is with or without crusie options. My crusie stopped working and I found this sensor and connection full of fluid, but I was also messing with the headlight switch and could have pulled something loose or fryed something. Can not find one local to replace it and not sure what it does or if it would solve my problem. No lights on showing that it's bad. Thanks
