I have a 2000 F-150 2wd that I use to tow my racecar. The front brakes wear the inner pads twice as fast as the outers. Having eliminated all other causes, I am left to assume that the differential wear is due to caliper"flex". Do any of you know of a more rigid 2 or 4 piston caliper that will interchange with this 2 piston floating caliper? I've got to believe that there is a better caliper someplace in the parts bin from another Ford, Lincoln or Mercury product that will fit this spindle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
