NO MORE CAPS PLEASE:

We can all hear you just fine. As for the warranty, you shouldn't have any problems w/ that. As for the snow and rain, you shouldn't have any problems there either.

usually the only time a mod voids the warranty is if the mod caused the problem.

I recently put a set of BFGoodrich Mud Terrains (285/70/17) on my stock FX4 rims. The tires fit great without any adjustments to torsion bars or such (although I am going to raise them 3/4 inch just for looks sake). The tires give the truck a much more agressive stance, look great on the rims (first time I did not go with aftermarket rims), and really improve the ride. Good luck on your choice!

Sorry...to answer your orignal questions:

1) Will not affect warranty. I have put similar size on both new Chevy, Dodge, and Ford trucks I have purchased and that size was never an issue.

2) My experience my BFG Muds is they do a very good job in snow and rain, and the brand new design on the Muds even reduce hydroplaining better than before. I live in the high desert/mountian region of NM and never had a performance issue with any of the BFGs (All Terrains or Mud Terrains). Someone else may have different experience since we get snow but not excessive rain driving here.
