Does anyone have LT 245-75-16's mounted on 8 inch rims?

yep
My 99 f150 came from the factory with LT245 75 16 tires on the oem 16x8 polished aluminum rims, so the answer is yes if ford can do it so can you! just for the record the tires were goodyear wrangler AP's

All the literature on Ford aluminum rims are 7 inches
