That is the size that came stock on the Lightning. The tires weren't all that much shorter overall than my stock 17's . My speedo seemed to be a little bit off but the more I drive it the more I think maybe it is right. So in other words if it is off it is not off by much.

Tirerack seems to have some of the best prices and I have used them several times with good luck. That is what I ran into when looking for tires 250 a pop for tires is just too rich for my blood when a 285/50 is like 130 something each. If you are not going to lower your truck I would go with a little taller tire. I think my truck looks a little funny with such a low profile tire and such a big wheel gap. I can't wait for my 3/4 kit to come in.

Thanks for all your help on the exhaust issue I really like the way yours looks. I can't wait to get mine done. How loud is yours I don't want something super loud but want it to have a little bit of bark to it. Best of luck, Paul
