wheels that last in salt?

I have the offroad package and have considered scrapping the 17" wheels for 16's so that I will have a wider variety of tire choices. I had looked at the eagle 589's but was wondering how they would last in the salty sloppy winter roads in Indiana. On my lifted ranger I used AR shadows (which are no longer available) and they held up great (the center caps did start to look a little bad though). I seems that when you look at wheels now, they are all highly polished and don't look like they could take a rough salty winter....I don't want something that will look like those old steel craigers(SP?) that people use to buy for like $50 each and after one winter they are all nasty and rusted...thanks for any advice.
