My 2000 is in need for tires. It has 265/70/17on it now
I want a oversized 17 like 285 or 295/70 but I havent found a tire manufacturer besides mickey thompson that offers anything other than stock size. anyhelp will be much appreciated.

Procomp make's a 33/12.5/17" all-terrain & mud-terrain.
Do a search,there are alot of post's here about Procomp's.
I think BFG make's a 285/70/17 mud-terrain also but it's pretty new on the market so price is probabaly at a premium.
I alway's run BFG's, but I've heard great thing about the Procomp's here on the board's I might try then next.

 

ProComp MT (which ismade by Cooper Tire) makes a 33/12.50/17 and also a 35/12.50/17. I have the 33" MT's, and they have done well offroad, and wear evenly. BFG's revised MT KM's offer a 35" and 37" tire size. Interco has some 32's in 265/70R17, 32/11.50/17, and 37/12.50/17. Also for stock tire sizes: Goodyear makes the MTR (great tire) in 265/70R17 and 275/70R17

 

Keep in mind; once you go to a larger tire, the rim width has to within tire manufactures specs. Tire charts usually show the required rim width. Good luck.
