4x4 Screw Wheels & Tires

I am buying a used 4x4 Screw that is in need of tires. What I want to know is what kind of wheel/tire package will fit without rubbing? I don't mind 16" or 17". I would like a rim that would push the tires out to the wheel well.

What backspacing is best for your choice of wheels?

A 285/75-16 or 305/70-16 will fit without a lift on a 16x8 or 16x10 inch rim. You will have to do very minor trimming of the front bumper's lower valance (the plastic piece) if you go with a 10 inch wide rim. If you are after a wider , more aggressive stance you should go with a 10 inch wide rim. My 16x10 Eagles are about even with the edge of the fenders. Most aftermarket rims for F150's have the same approximate backspacing as the stock wheels. All you have to decide is do you want the wheels to stick out 1 inch or 3 inches wider than factory.

Screw wheels and tires

This truck is white with silver at the bottom. Do you have pics of your truck. Did you say what size tires you have on your 10's. Thanks for your help.

Sorry, but I don't have any pictures. My tires are 285/75 BFG AT KO's.

Screw wheels and tires

I just talked to a tire dealer and he said a 33/12.5/16.5 on a 16.5 x 9.75 will work nice with a little adjustment of the torsion bars. The BFG AT outside diameter measures 32.7 in. and a 285/75/16 measures 32.9 in. Does anyone have this set up?
