97 F150 with 255/70 16 - can I go 225/60 without problems?

Am getting an old Farm truck. A 97 F150 with 255/70 x16 inch tires that are sun rotted. I have a nice set of 225/60 R16's from a Van with less than 1000 miles on them. A deer nailed the van and it is totaled - but he tires were not involved.

Will I run into any problems using the 225 tires on the older Ford F 150?
The older truck has 16x7.0J rims for the factory 255/70 R16SL tires.

The van tires are top of the line and will save me dollars if I can use them.

The diameter and the load rating are both going to be less. the 225's are 26.5" tires, the 255's are 30" tires. Rim size is fine.
