Jack

I just bought a 2006 F150 supercrew Lariat, it is missing a jack. Having trouble finding a suitable replacement, and don't like the idea of spending the $200, on ones I have found online. The more affordable scissor jacks I have found are only rated for 2 tons, and don't extend high enough. I have the interlocking levers / extensions etc. to remove the spare wheel, I just need a jack, for emergency tire changes. Does anyone know a suitable cheap alternative, that can stay in the truck, preferably under the seat, not taking up too much space.

Thanks in advance

Leigh

2 tons is plenty for a spare tire jack. You are only jacking up one wheel at a time. Should be plenty of them in the salvage yards if they don't throw them in the recycle pile.
