Used Mud Grapplers worth buying?

I've been looking into getting some mud grapplers. I found some used with 85% tread left. The size is 33x12.50 17 and the asking price is 800. Just wondering if it's worth the purchase. Thanks

if mud grapplers are what you want..

and they actually have 85% tread (bring a tread depth gauge)...

then ya that's not a bad deal

Well the tires are about an hour and a half away from where I live. So I don't want to drive that whole way and it not be 85%. Based off what the seller told me, he said it was just above Lincoln's eye on the penny with his head facing up. I used a 6" scale to measure that distance and it came out to be 18/32. Mud graps start out at 21/32 according to nitto' website.

3 hours round trip I'd try to get it down to like 650-700 at the most before even driving out there.

My brother got 35x12.5x20s nitto mud grapplers for his truck for $800 and they were almost brand new. If he says 85% I say $600-650 and him meet you halfway.

I've had 3 sets of them, I've learned the last 50% wear is awful, an for some reason I could barely get 25k out of mudgrapplers with rotation, but yea that's a decent deal IF they are 85%

That's not a bad deal. But the drive blows.. i'd offer 5-600 and maybe end up at 650 give or take
Someone who buys mud grapplers shouldnt be worried about the tread wear longevity too much. Id say 30k miles tops if you baby them.

x2^ I had 35x12.5r20's with about 10,000 miles and sold them for $600. I thought I was jipping him. They don't last very long, they are very freaking loud on any road and are bumpy at slow speeds. The only reason I would put them on is for looks or the tremendous job they do in the mud.
