Ford Rims

I'm not totally sure if this is true, but i've heard that you can take rims off of a Dodge Ram and put them straight onto a Ford? is this even possible without changing you hubs and all of the good stuff?

I'm not sure, it'd depend on the year truck your talking about. The pre-97 f150's use the 5 on 5.5" pattern which some dodges use. The 97-03 f150's use 5x135 which is ford only, the 04-now f150's use 6x135 which is also ford only.

Some rims, I'm assuming they are aftermarket, are universal and fit multiple patterns

hgv mechanic jobs
There's really nothing more to explain. You need to pick a wheel and then determine if the bolt pattern of that wheel matches your truck.

That's what I thought too. Posting a link to something unrelated in your very first post? SPAM

There was a period some time ago when both Ford and Dodge used the same pattern, 5x5.5". That time is long gone.

Here is a site that will tell you what bolt pattern a vehicle has.
