F150 5 Lug, Hub Assembly replacement?

I have a 2006 f150, super crew 4x4, 5.4L with about 140k. The wheel hub assembly needs replacing, but I am having a hard time locating the assembly in a 5 lug pattern. Do you know if you can use the 2000-2004 assembly on an 06 as those are 5 lug patterns in that year range. I believe in 06 they switched part way through the year to the 6 lug pattern. Any help would be appreciated.

The F150 has been a 6 lug since 2004. And the hu7bs on the 1997 - 2003 would be totally different than the 2004 up.

Slight correction to what kingfish51 is saying. In 2004, Ford sold both the new body style F150 and the heritage body style F150. The NBS has the 6 lug and the HBS has the 5. This overlooks the also available 7 lug offered on the F150's with the Heavy Duty payload package.

Your 2006 has a 6 lug hub. Your local parts store or one of the many online parts sources will be able to hook you up with the correct part.

so you are saying that your 2006 currently has 5 lugnuts on each wheel?

First - go out and count again.

If you still only count 5, then you better go find the guy that sold you the truck and have a long talk.... cause it aint a 2006...

The only way I can think that it would have 5 lug, is if it has adapters, which to me is silly. First you are putting more pressure on the front bearings etc, as you are moving where the weight lies farther out. Second, they put 6 lugs on the newer F150s for a reason, mainly t5o handle the weight of the vehicles, which are heavier and have a heavier GVWR than previous models.
