Largest tires on a 4x2

I want to stuff some 255x85/16's on my 2000 f150, 4x2. Will these 33" tires fit without rubbing? If not what can I do to help them fit, aside from a lift kit?

I put on P265/75R/16's, Filled up the wheel wells nicely, no clearance problems.

I had my new tires installed two days ago. I put on 285/70 R16's.
The tire type is BFGoodrich All-Terrain AT Ko

There is a slight rubbing when the wheel is turn hard over left. Other than that I haven't had any troubles with rubbing even on 5 inch deep dips at 35 mph. Havn't had them out in the wilderness "yet".

Thanks

Max-
Thanks for the input. I am actually going for just the opposite. I want to go for the tallest wheel that I can stuff in my wells. I also want to keep the same width, maybe even go a little more narrow (for mud traction). I appreciate the info, though.
