picking wheels

I have a Gray 2012 F-150 FX4 where i am looking to add a leveling kit and than upgrade the wheels/tires.

Looking at picking up either RBP 94R series with chrome on black inserts rims or XD Series Bolt Matte Black Pattern (33x9x20's) rims.

What you guys think?

or

Thanks

Both wheels look good, just depends how much other chrome accents are on your truck. If your mirror caps, handles, step bars, and such are chrome, the RBPs may blend in better. I have all that and the Monster wheels and it looks 'ok'.

I agree with Darren. It all depends on how much chrome you want/have to accent your truck. I almost done with mine, but I'm blacking mine out (09 STX 4x4) and I put the XD Monsters on mine. The all matte black finish really accents my truck, but it might not accent yours the best.

And trying to picture a gray F-150 w/ the RBP rims doesn't look to good in my head, but the XD's seem to look real good.

I'm not an admin, but always search the forum for previous thread about similar topics.

Check that thread. That's what I picture when I think of your truck. Yes, I know your truck is newer and picturing the XD rims on this truck http://images.allamericanautomobiles...s/63559647.jpg I think look the best. From the pics I looked at for 2012 FX4, it looked like all of them have the dark door handles unless you get a chrome package with it etc.

IMO, I would go the XD rims all the way. Hopefully some of this helped you TripleX. I just looked for rims for my truck for the past 3 weeks, so your post was a deja vu for me.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks guys. I don't have any chrome on the body soaagree with your assessment that the XD Series would be better... Thanks a lot.

Glad I could help, TripleX.

I am putting the XD monsters on my 09 STX. I'm blacking it out so I got the 20x9 XD monsters and I'm wrapping them in 305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

I ordered them last week so hopefully they'll be here this week (hopefully tmrw) and I can get them mounted! Will upload a pic once they are on! Give you another view at the XD rims.
