Can someone confirm my logic?

Hey gang!

I'm wonderin' if someone can confirm my logic here. I ordered a set of 295/70/18 Terra Grappler ATs for my 2012 F-150 on the stock 18" chrome package wheels. After doing a little research, I decided to send back my Terra Grappler and order the same size but in a Trail Grappler.

I've seen pictures of a black SuperCrew like mine with 295/70/18 Trail Grapplers with only a 2" level. I'm fine with doing just that. I like things nice and subtle. On the contrary, I used to a lifted Ram. I've got 3" rear blocks in my garage.

Here's my question. If I order a 2.5" level for the front of my truck, and replace my factory block(which I think think is 2") and replace it with the 3" block in my garage, will my truck sit level for the most part?

I'd like a nice and level look, without having my rear sit higher. Thank you for any help!

Chris

Take a measurement on your block sitting around.
Same width as your factory block?
Single or dual pin?
Tapered or flat?

2.5 with a 3" block will leave you with some rake, every truck is different. My 2" autospring has my front end at 39.75" and rear at 40" ground to fender.

Measure the height of your front end and then add 2.5". Now measure the rear end and make the adjustments needed. If you go underneath and measure the stock block and also measure the block in your garage you will know what it takes to have your truck sit level.

Let's say that your front end measures 40" and your rear measures 39". To level it you need one more inch in the rear and by replacing a 2" block with a 3" block you have gained the one inch needed.

I bought a fx4 oem block off a member in this forum and it was 2"

A 2 1/2 " in the front usually brings the truck up to perty much level sitting on the street. Without excess weight in the front U will need an alighment. It isn't the Big V-8 weight up there.
