Thanks everyone. I stayed out of the voting after seeing how the TOTM debacle turned out this month.

No crying here. I was just happy to be nominated. He knows I think he has a sharp truck as I told him in PM's prior to.

Congrats Str8six
Richard, my "logic" isn't logic, it's fact. Also, if it was solely based on wheels then why post a picture of the entire truck? The wheel tire combo is what makes or breaks a truck's appearance. Either way I'm not worried about it, just voicing my opinion. Congrats to Str8 Six.

FYI, machined finish and black is the new chrome. Chrome and Polished aluminum are a thing of the past. I'm surprised my truck made it.

Ladies and Gents - First of all, THANK YOU to all of you who posted your trucks and particpated in the voting. I had a heckuva good time seeing the updates everytime we logged on. At TD we all thought that almost any of the 50+ original entires could have won this thing, and certainly any of the 10 finalists. There are some nice looking pieces of hardware on this forum and some bad ##s trucks. In the end, someone had to win, and it was Str8Six (Finalist #10) in a blow out! By our count Str8Six recieved 18 votes, which makes him the winner of the $500 Tread Depot store credit, and owner of some bragging rights! Congratulations all around,a nd again thanks for playing!!!!!!!!!!

Str8six, please PM me so I can get some info and run through redemption info.

For some maybe but certainly not me.

Some trucks look good with the black wheels but for the most part you really cannot go wrong with chrome. Chrome wheels make everything look better you cannot say that about black wheels.

And this is not the first time black wheels have been in. They were popular back in the 80's as well, see I actually had them at one point.

My 88 F-150

My 85 Toyota

I agree with you. If I didn't like the OEM 20's so much on my 07, it would be getting chrome.

Congrats Str8six! I have to say- I can't believe all the whining cry babies who are coming across as sore losers! You sound like a couple pubescent boys crying to their mommy that they just lost a T-ball game... Anyone can go to discount tire and order a new set of wheels if they cough up enough $$ Str8six has put many hours of time, sweat and energy turning his own wrenches to get where his truck is now- including creating this sweet one-off wheel design himself. So you haters crying about the landslide win seriously need to shut yo mouths and realize he won fair and square-- rant off

How do we have 2 contests in 1 month and they both have people complaining. Be proud to be nominated.
