Need help. 2011 f150 xlt 4wd (doing a leveling kit) want to fit 33's or 35's
Hello everyone...
This is my first post here so i will do my best to not and sound like a moron.
I currently have a 2011 f150 xlt 4wd supercrew cab.
I am going to have a leveling kit installed to level out the front and i believe it is a 2.5 inch kit.
I have been told by some that you can do 35's with a level and some have said only 33's with a level.
If i do 33's i will be going with the following:
Nitto trail grappler 305/55r20
fuel hostage 20x9 with a 14mm offset
if i can do 35's then what should i do?
I have read a lot of posts on here and am pretty much getting mixed signals on what i can and cannot fit.
My truck is a lease so i kind of want to stay away from trimming, cutting, etc. I just want some nice wheels and tires on the truck to make it look a little tougher.
Thank you for any and all help!

Just as information, you will likely be nose high on a 2011 with a 2.5 inch level. A 1.5 inch Autospring kit will leave a very slight rake (like 0.25 inch) and a 2 inch will be just nose high (by about the same amount).
This will of course vary a little by individual truck and by the leveling kit manufacturer. You could change rear blocks or add a leaf spring to get some additional rear height.
I am running 295/70/18 (34.5") on a 2009 f150 with a 1.5" level and have no rubbing anywhere on stock wheels.

I want to go as big as possible! Go big or go home right?
295/65R20
305/55R20
35X12.50R20
Whats it going to be?
I have done some research and if the 35's only require me to cut off a small piece of plastic that is fine with me. I just don't want to have to cut holes, remove wheel liners, etc, etc.

Last week I installed 2" motofab kit on front and added 275/70/18 BFG ta ko's on my 2011 f150 screw and I love it. I was a little weary about using the stock wheels but it looks just fine. Lift and tires raised my front end 3" and truck is dead level at fenders. I rarely carry much in my bed so I was looking for the level w/o rake. I am extremely happy with my project as my truck looks much more aggressive now. I have found at full turn I rub the inside of my mudflaps but no biggie as at full turn it is a slow speed. Just a note...fenders measure out at 40.5 inches from ground now with with this setup.
295/65R20 = 35.5" tall. Major rub. 6" lift required.
305/55R20 = 33", zero rub. No level needed.
35X12.50R20 = 35". Valance corner trim, possibly small trim to fender liner. 2" level at minimum.
Go big or go home matters in different scenarios. I put 295/60-20s ( 34.5x12.10 ) on my truck, and I miss the get-up n' go the 33s had. Lost 2.5 mpg I believe, and O/D doesn't hold quite as well as it did before ( I am custom tuned too, with 3.73s ). Granted I have original spark plugs, it really matters how you are using your truck. Daily getter? Towing machine? Stick to the 33. If yours sits for a month straight like mine, go for the bigger tire for eye candy appeal. I love the look of my 34.5s, and the 3/4 ton truck feel it now has, but if I was daily driving it like I was when first purchased, I never would have gone past 33" tires.
