Question 2011 wheels on a 2003 F150?????

Hi all,

Finally ready to up date my 03 SuperCrew from stock 17" to new rims and tires. I have found a few 20" take offs from 2011 and 2012 trucks complete with tires.

Has anyone used 5x135 to 6x135 lug nut conversion adapetr/spacers with newer 20" rims and tires to Heritage body style trucks.

I was already planning a mild lift (2wd) 2 inches front and 2 inches rear along with new 265/70/17 Michelin LTX MS2 tires up from my 275/60/17 BFG Long Trail Tour tires that have barely made 45,000 miles.

Figured the take offs plus adpaters would be nearly the same as just tires and change the look of the truck.

Thanks for any input.

I plan ordering a set of adapters for my truck next month and doing the same but I'm running a set of 24's that I had on my old chevy

Where are you getting the adapters from? Some ebay ones are made cheaply and will rust and decay after a short period of time...

I'd have to see pictures first. Sometimes if you don't match it up right, 20's can look too modern or something for our body style truck…they just don't "fit" if ya know what I mean.
