Found my next wheels. New moto metals

well it's been awhile since i made a big change to my truck so im getting kind of bored. i've been looking at different wheels lately and i decided on these yesterday.

moto metal 962's in gloss black. the 22x14's wont be out until next month though. i think i'll be getting 40in. toyos to go with them. that's the worst part. most places sell those 40x15.50x22 toyos for around $800 a piece.

what do yall think?

Very cool! I wish I had just your tire/wheel budget for my whole truck!

Do the Novokanes come in the size you want? IMHO, those are the most wicked looking wheels out there right now.

What size wheels are you running now? I think u have 41 inch swampers but wondering what size wheel? Why do want 22s, I think on a truck that big, 20s look better and keep the off road look better than the 22s. The wheels look good though, would look good with the color of your truck.

oh believe me paying over 3 grand for just the tires still hurts. I just put away $500 at a time every once and awhile to do it. yeah I love just about all bmf wheels these new ones just get me for some reason.

right now ive got 20s, I like the look but they just look small to me sometimes. im sure if they were chrome they wouldnt. I can say that 22s will be the largest I go.

I agree with DewserB, they look nice but I'd go novakanes all the way!!! They would look sick on your truck.

So you're doing 40s on 22s with a deep dish? I'm saving judgement till I see them, but I'm cautiously optimistic

yep pretty much. i think it should look pretty good. i've seen several pictures of 40 inch toyos on 14 inch wide wheels and they look good. i hate when people have wheels that are wider than the tires. im glad it doesn't look like that.

The white and red Rams are perfect examples of using a rim too wide for the tire. These seem to be perfect examples of a disturbing trend of using a combo of a 6 to 8 inch lift kit paired with 12 or 14 inch wide wheels and only like a 33 inch tall tire.
