Unless this is what he's going for

Depending on wheel offset, He can run up to 35" tires.. I had 22s with 35s on my 2005 FX4 with a 2.5" leveling kit.

Is he looking to do a street tire or off-road?

If he wants a street tire he should remove his leveling kit, add some lowering shackles out back and go with a 305/35-24 (33x12.50).

I think he should drop down to a 22 and do like blackout had on his truck.. its a nice look with 35's.....and bigger then a 22 he should do a drop like wandell said.
Only time 24's look good to me is when they put them with a 40"tire or bigger!

I'm just interested in seeing 24"s on a truck that isn't at all. Any idea what wheels he wants to go with?

He could prob get 33" terra graps but they are pretty price per tires prob round 650 or so a tires but wont get much cheaper per tire than that. pretty pointless for that much rim unless he puts on more of a lift so he can fit 37's-40''s that way he will have more sizing options for that big of a rim.

He can fit 33x12.50x22 Toyo Mts with a 2" leveling kit as long as the offset isn't negative.. Tell him to get between +12 and +20 offset and it will fit and look good. I have 22s with 33s right now, But hate how small the tire are.. I will be doing 35s as soon as I install a Rancho 4" lift.

id do 26''s with a 315 series if he wants to keep the level. that way he can roll deep with the boys in the 'hood...or convince him to go down to 22s and a terra grap tire
