1. Removed the center caps
2. Trimmed the stems with a saw (1inch)
3. Unscrewed the star from the center cap
4. Painted with a ultra flat black
paint
5. Finished with a matte clear
6. Screwed the stars back onto the center cap
7. Screwed the centercaps back onto the rims

To pop the tires on other cars as you drive by of course, kinda like a Roman chariot.

Mine use to sit out past the tire, little excessive.

 

I hated how they stuck out and weren't flush to the wheel, they deserved a good trimming!

That is a fantastic cheap mod. Now u won't look exactly like the million other sets of rockstars. Looks way better.
