rough country lift
rough country lift
wanting to install a Rough Country 3" suspension lift. Also want to use the factory 16" rims but wan to put a wider tire on. Im running 265/75/16 now. can anyon tell me what the factry back spacing is and how much bigger of a tire i can run wihout rubbing. was talking to a jc whittney rep and he could not tell me
I'm assuming 2x4 because they don't make 3" lifts for the 97-03 4x4 besides those god awful torsion keys. The biggest tire you can run on a 2wd with 3" is a 33x12.50 with a 16x8 wheel and 4.5" backspacing.
And if those are 3" coils make SURE you get aftermarket control arms too, otherwise you'll eat through ball joints like theres no tomorrow.
On the otherhand if your 4x4 and your talking about the torsion keys, don't buy those! You'll destroy ball joints with those too.
