Is your truck a 4x4 or 4x2?

If you are 2wd the biggest tire size without lift would be 285/75/16 with a little bit of rubbing on front. With a lift you could go bigger than that or with 4x4 you could

I'm assuming 2x4 because they don't make 3" lifts for the 97-03 4x4 besides those god awful torsion keys. The biggest tire you can run on a 2wd with 3" is a 33x12.50 with a 16x8 wheel and 4.5" backspacing.

And if those are 3" coils make SURE you get aftermarket control arms too, otherwise you'll eat through ball joints like theres no tomorrow.

On the otherhand if your 4x4 and your talking about the torsion keys, don't buy those! You'll destroy ball joints with those too.
