Wheel Sizing Question

I'm considering buying this truck, but want to lower it. It currently has a 6" Procomp Lift and 3" body lift. If I have the 3" body lift removed and replace the tires. What is a good looking tire size for this 6" lift and 18" rims? I want a smooth ride. I've heard the Toyos drive/sound the best, so I'll pobably go with them.

Anything else I need to consider? Thanks in advance.

35x12.5 would be good. Why don't u just get some retractable steps, such as amp I believe that lower when u open the door and raise when doors closed. Especially if those tires have good tread left on them.

That's what I was thinking too.

I think the guy said he thinks there are about 10K miles left on them. I need to look when I go check it out. I don't care for the body lift, but I imagine he added that to clear the 37s.

I do want some running boards. I'm 6'4", but my wife insists on running boards. I wonder how much a motorized step like that would be installed. I'll make a call or two.

35x12.5x18 will work fine.
So what truck will you be looking at next week?

I kid, I kid...

Good looking truck. Hope you decide on one soon.

That is a beautiful Screw! I'd add some Gap Guards though.

That truck looks perfect to me. Why would you buy a FX4 only to lower it? I would suggest just continue to shop around and fine one like you want or a base model to build up yourself.

It does look good, but it's a little high imo. I think it will look good with 6" and I may still have hope of getting it in the garage. I'm only talking about the body lift. Plus it needs new tires soon.

35x12.50 will fit just right if you take the body lift off. But taking the body lift off will probably be pretty expensive unless you do it yourself. Body lifts take a lot of labor hours

Thanks guys....finding the right truck hasn't been fruitful. The guy selling this truck hasn't gotten back to me on questions for a week and I need a vehicle by Friday.
