A 2" leveling kit would make it sit level and you can get them for about $70. For rims and tires, depending on if you want them to stick out, you can get wheels with 4.5" of backspacing and 35s and they wont rub, or if you don't want them to stick out you can fit about 33s with around 6" of backsace and a positive offset.

Pretty sure u got this backwards. 33s will be the biggest u can fit with low bs (4.5) wheels. The closer to stock specs with 6 bs, will be able to fit up to 35s with possibly some minor trimming, usually the plastic piece on the bottom of the front bumper. Some don't rub at all. Use the search option to look for more pictures. Check-out blackout's rig. Pretty sure its leveled with 35s and looks awesome.

Seeing now that u have fx2 package and are 2wd, the largest u can run without issue would be a 33.

Yeah I just saw it was 4x2, so it would be best to stick with 33s. But with the backspace, the less you have, the more the wheel sticks out, so the less chance it will rub on suspension components, and you can fit a bigger tire. He shouldn't have a problem running 33s with the truck leveled.

U are correct about not rubbing the control arms, but if they stick out with the low bs, they will hit the bumper or back part of front wheelwell. Maybe Wandell will chime in. Usually stated that with just a level, a wheel with almost identical to stock specs, will allow the biggest tire fitment. As for the ops question, with 33s either should be okay, just need to decide if u want the wider stance or the wheels to be tucked in.
