22'' on my f 150

The next step with my truck is getting new rims and tires. I am looking at getting a set of 22'' rims. I was just wondering if i put some low profile preformance tires would they rub any? If anybody has pics I would love to see!

You need to tell everyone what truck you have and if there are any mods to suspension.

305/40/22 would look awesome with a 2 inch shackles lowering kit in the rear. They would fit with very minimal rubbing as long as u aren't way lowered. They would fill the wheelwells nicely. Check victoriatire.com for some good deals. Free shipping as well. Got two sets of wheels from there for previous trucks.

It is the backspacing, offset, and tire size that will tell you if it will rub or not. And if you have a drop obviously. Not just the fact of having a 22" wheel.

And by leveling kit u mean the rear is lowered or the front is lifted. If rear is lowered recommend 305/40/22 and if front is lifted would go with 305/45/22. I'm guessing ur rear is lowered. My old truck was an 04 gmc sierra with rear shackles level kit and 305/40/22. Not too many good pics, but it filled the wheelwells extremely nice. No rubbing either.

Had smoked headlights and taillights as well, but that was a pic towards the beginning of when I had it. Would still have it, but it was 2wd and the shorter bed with the gm crews are small. Main reason I switched over was the 6.5 foot bed with supercrew. Well depending on how much u drop it will depend on size tire to recommend. 265/40 285/35 or 265/35.

The Harley's and Lightinings are only lowered an inch. The larger wheels and tires fill out the wheelwells more and give the illusion that the truck is lowered.

Lightnings have 18s and I believe Harley's have 20s. 22s will look great.
