Anyone running 305/60r18 BFG km2?
I am having the great debate on which tires will fit my 07 f150 fx4 oem rims the best since my oem tires are bald. I like the look of the oem rims and am not really interested in going aftermarket. I will be installing bilstein 5100's on the 2 inch setting in the front and a readylift block kit in the rear. I have been checking on here constantly for info on this among other things until I finally decided to become a member. It seems the 305 60r18 tires will work the best with my stock rims, while having little to no rubbing and gaining a little hieght and some decent width. Am i correct or should i consider a different size. I like the look of the 35 12.50 18 km2 as well to gain alot more height. Im just worried that my transmission will be hunting through the gears too much. My truck has 3.73 gears by the way. I know there has been alot posted on this but theres a difference between fitting and working/driving properly. I will also be picking up a SCT tuner soon so i could correct the speedo.

You will be fine with the 305's on stock rims. You could probably go with 35's since the BFG KM2 is not a full 35" diameter and with 373 gears won't have any issues, I've been running that set up for quit a few years.
The main issue is that the 12.5 width is a little wide for a stock rim, they will wear faster and the mud design on a narrow rim has a tendency to give that float effect while going down the road.

Thank you dog'em. Its a tough choice considering both i really like the look of the km2. The 35" is accually a little cheaper than the 305 beleive it or not up here in Canada. I could always go with the 35's then upgrade the rims later on. Legiron has 305 60 18's on his truck on oem rims and ive checked out his pictures and they look really good as well.??????

bug1964 that is good to know. I am leaning towards the 35" bfgs. Just as a side note according to the bfg website they reccomend 8.5" width min for the 305's and 8 inch for the 35's. If there right the 35's should fit my 7.5 width fx4 rim better. I hope to get away with a little bit of trimming for the 35's. Hopefully the Bilsteins will lift enough.
