Operation Non-Bank Buster: 35" on a 18" wheel

Ok, I've been shopping around for a good set of tires without breaking the bank. I don't want Falken or Hankook or any other AT/car tread POS tires.

285/65/18's are too small, but I was thinking somewhere around a 305/65/18-325/65/18 would be fine. 35 x 12.5-13.5 max.

What about 295/70/18? According to a few online tire calculators, they're pretty much the same size as 305/65/18's. I can get Nitto Trail Grappler MT's for about 250 a piece locally.

I have also seen 325/65/18 FierceTires ATTITUDE M/T for about the same price, plus shipping.

What are you guys finding? I hate spending so damn much on tires, but it is what it is. I normally buy BFG AT's and am pretty damn happy with them. I just don't want to spend almost 1500 on tires.

I love my Trail Grapplers so far. I've got them in the 295/70/18. Check out my gallery for some pics of them.

what the hell is a FierceTires Attitude M/T? Never even hear of them.. If you can get the Nitto's for about the same price, pay for the Big Name brand rather than a small no name..

Also, the Nitto's are a great tire. I was going to get them, but got an awesome deal on my KM2s. Figure i might give the Nitto's a try the Nitto's next.

From what I have come up with, they are a private label of goodyear. Not a bad looking tire though.
I only saw them in an E load range. Won't those cost more that the D you probably have on there now?

They look good and about the smallest I would want to go with the lift I have. Hmmmm...

I had E load BFG AT's before I lifted my truck, got a wicked deal on a used set of Toyo AT's in 325/65's. I wanted to see if I liked the size of tire before buying a new set. Kind of on the wide side for me, but still doable.

Swazo, way off topic, but did u powdercoat your bumpers or paint them? Truck looks good. Wouldn't go much smaller than u have now either with the lift. Is it 4 or 6 inch?

I sprayed them with Rustoleum Bedliner, along with the ATS fender flares. I'll be doing the running boards too when I have time.
Here's the thread that gave me the idea. Originally I had the bumpers painted in wrinkle black, but I like this stuff better.

I have a 6 inch lift, but didn't stack the factory and the kit block because Utah's saftey inspection would've rejected it. I have the kit block and a lift shackle in the back, but still think it's not as high as it should be and will be adding an AAL soon. Pretty tempted to do a 3" BL too....
