I am new here and am looking forward to learning a ton from you in the very near future.

I am considering getting 22" wheels instead of the stock 20" that comes with the truck. Does the speedo need to be recalibrated? Has anyone here ever done this?

Yes you can do 22s if you stay around through height of the 20s you'll be fine also what color is your truck?

 

It's the tire diameter that has the final effect on the speedometer not the wheels. The 22's should fit if the lug pattern is 6x135mm.

 

With 305/40/22 tires your speedometer wouldn't be too far off and the dealer is able to recalibrate for slightly larger diameter tires. Pawpaw put 33s on his new truck and he said dealer was able to recalibrate.
