I need to know what is the max size tire i can run on my truck, stock height, with 18 in rims. i dont want to have to modify the ride height or trim anything for clearance.

what setups are other people running on the same truck?

The 295/70/18 will be too large. Pretty sure that is about a 34 inch tire. The 285/65/18 would fit with similar to stock backspacing with minimal rubbing. You could also crank your torsion bars up to get some clearance. Not sure what bs u would have to run with that wide of a wheel to work. Wandell or another wheel/tire expert will chime in. If u do crank the t bars u would need an alignment.

i dont want to have to touch the tbars. just a simple bolt on set of rims/rubber. but i want the biggest size i can. 285/65/18 is too big?

im really looking to add Nitto T/G to my rims if possible. maybe i could handle minimum modifications

You can fit a 325/60-18 (33x13.00) if you trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance. If you don't want to do any trimming, go with a 285/65-18 (33x11.50).

Fomoco. Is your truck 4wd or 2wd? Wandell, he could go that big on a 99? I thought the wheelwells are significantly smaller than 04-08.

Sorry, I assumed you have a 4x4. I'd stick with a 285/60-18 on an 8 inch wide wheel with 4.5 or 5 inches of backspacing.

I doubt either size would fit without trimming.
