tires for a lift

so i just measured my stock rims, there 18", so does that mean i dont have to buy rims to run 35s and can i still get spacers

alright, idk measured it from rim side to rim side, ill redo it and post the pic with the Measuring tape

The only OEM Ford wheels from 97-03 that were 18 inches were the Lightning wheels.

Those look like the lariat 17's. What does the metric tire size read?

The last number will tell you what size your wheels are. If you measure from inside the wheel lip to inside the lip on the other side it will give you a more accurate reading also. I'm pretty sure those are 17's though.

THose look like the OEM 17x7.5 inch wheels from what I can tell. The problem is you are measuring the outter edge of the wheel, not where the bead sits.

would it be recommended to get a leveling kit with a 6in lift? i was thinkin 2in,

You don't need a leveling kit. Your front ride height is adjustable by the amount of preload on the torsion bars.

okay, but should i? or should i just get a body, id like to have 7 mayb 8in of a lift
