What size hose for bleeder valves?

I have a 1999 F-150 with 4 wheel discs. I want to bleed my brakes.

Anybody know what size hose I need to fit snugly over the bleeder valves?

Thanks a lot.

probably like 1/8" ID hose will work. The bleeder valves are usually a bit bigger than that so it should fit on snugly.

If you want to do it another way, check out the speed bleeder screws with the valves in them. No hose necessary.

Thanks guys. You sure on the 1/8" hose? I want to get the right size when I go to the store.

I'm actually going to be bleeding them/flushing the fluid with a 60cc syringe and a piece of hose hooked up to the bleeder valve, so a snug fit is preferable for a better seal. I have a Mityvac vacuum bleeder and the syringe works 10X better in terms of pure suction power and ease of use.

Just need to get the right size hose....let me know if 1/8" ID hose is the right one if you could. Thanks a lot.
