Wheel Fitment ?

Hey Guys,

New to the aftermarket wheel scene. But I fell into a 'deal' on a set of rims last night that I bought trusting that the owner knew what he was talking about.

They are 17x8 Motoring Rockers. Ford Bolt Pattern, he bought them for the tires that were on them (315/70-17's) and they were on the guys F150 that he bought them from, so I'm certain they'll fit but just looking for some backing on that.

There is a marking on the area where the wheel meets the hub that says +25, I'm assuming thats offset/backspacing? Maybe I'm wrong. I'd like to get them cleaned up tonight, so can get pictures if needed.

I'm running 275/70-17's on my 06 with 1.5" (2" actual measured) leveling kit.

Are they going to fit close to the same as stock?

Bs is 5.65" or close to on that 8 inch rim with +25 offset. Lug pattern should be 6x135 if that helps

Do you happen to know what the stock wheels BS is? Thats my concern.

The lug pattern is stamped on the wheel 6x135, so I knew they'd work that way, just a bit concerned about where the tires will be compared to where they are now...With stock wheels that is.

Oh crap, I thought the stock rims were 8" wide as well.

Shouldn't matter for the tires though I don't think.

So they should fit really close to stock if I'm understanding this properly?

Thank you for the help!

If the wheels are 8 inches wide with 5.6 inches of BS, a 315/70-17 (35x12.50) will fit a 4x4 with a leveling kit. But it will be very tight and you may have to do some minor trimming.

Thanks for the info.

But I'm going to run MY tires (that was a background story) which are 275/70-17 with the 1.5" AS level.

I just want to know if they'll be the same as stock, or very close to it as far as where they ride in the wheel wells.

7.5" to 8" is not going to make a differnce on if the tires will fit.

These are 315x70x17 BFG's on 17x8 wheels with 5.5 inches of BS, I had no rubbing with these wheels.

Thanks.

So with similar backspacing and just a bit wider wheel, they aren't going to stick out/in further then stock correct? Thats really what I'm looking for.

They'll stick out only about 1/2 inch more then stock.

Barely noticeable then, thats what I was hoping for (if not the same). I would have done some of this research before buying the wheels, but for 100.00 w/locking lug nuts etc...I really couldn't pass it up to ask questions first! LOL

Thanks for the help. Hope to get them on this weekend, I'll snag a pic.
