Bump! Apparently Wagner does not make rear ceramic pads for our trucks can anybody confirm or deny this?? My rear rotors are coming in on Monday and I would really like to have pads so I can put them on

One set came from my local Advance auto and the other from Rockauto.com. I did my fronts first and I think those were from Advance. Rockauto.com carries both front and rear I know.

For my truck the front part # is QC1083 and the rear is QC1012. As far as I know all 2004-2008 have the same brakes so that should work for you too.

Okay I'm really sorry to be a pain in the *** lol but I cannot for the life of me get a rear pad that says it fits my 07 XLT 5.4 .... Can you link the front and back ceramic thermoquiet that fit my truck for sure and I am going to order them (from rock auto preferably)

Thank you in advance sorry again!!

Check the semi metallic part numbers for the 2007 vs the 2005. If they are the same, you can deduce that the same ceramic pads will fit. Now, if there is something goofy about the 2007 rear rotor material where using ceramics is not advised is anyone's guess.

Or, just get the semi metallic. That is all I have used and they are great. The last set, I changed at 80,000 just because I was tired of wondering when they wouild wear out. Could have gone 100,000 easily. If you are determined to go ceramic. I'm pretty sure that the numbers stay the same, they just use different letters to designate semi metallic and ceramic.

Here is the Federal Mogul part search. http://fme-cat.com/Default.aspx

After looking up your truck on rockauto and federal mogul you are right they do not show a rear ceramic pad for the 2007 year model. One thing I did notice notice is that the 2007 semi metallic rear TQ pad has the part number MX1012A. The rear for my 2005 is MX1012 or QC1012 without the A so their must be a small difference.

So What should I do? I don't want to buy the pads and not have them fit properly. I relly would like the ceramics though.

Go to a parts store and have them pull both part numbers and compare them. That's the only way that I know to do it.
