295/70/18 on 18x9 rim with 5"bs??

im lookin at a 295/70/18 which when calculated came out as a 34.3x11.6x18, iim also lookin at a rim thats a 18x9, with 5" bs. will this combo work on an 2008 f-150, i know there will be trimming, but other then trimming the front valence, will there be any other problems? thanks

Have everything the same except my BS was 5.71 vs your BS of 5. Very minor trimming. Can't imagine 0.71 affecting that much.

i saw ur gallery pictures, what about flexin, and turning how do they responed in differnt postions, do the tires rub any, idk if that .71 would make it rub or not, it looked pretty tight with ur hand between the inner fender and tire?

It's tight but I trimmed a very minor amount of the lower front valence and it doesn't rub anywhere after the trim work.

Almost 3/4 inch could make a huge difference. Also, do you have a 4x4 or 4x2? Leveling kit?

It's a 4x4 with 2.5 level kit, I'm not worried about the valence cause it can be trimed its the fender near the driver and passenger door when u turn ?

They may rub on the lower wheelwell liners in the front when making a hard turn but the 11.6 width may avoid that. I had 315x70x17 BFG's on 17x9 with 5" BS wheels on my '04 and they rubbed when turning but the BFG's were wider. If you don't mind some trimming and maybe a little minor rubbing the end result would look great.

This is the stance with 9" wheels with 5 inches of BS, 17 and 18's will look the same and stick out about 2 inches more then stock.

I like the stance, I notice on my truck the inner fender is plastic so it would be a easy trim but its the outside bottom corner near the door, if that makes since, if it clears that corner without being trimed, think I'm good to go on getting that tire size, if it requires minor tiriming then I'm not quite sure yet how to trim the corner down, I'm lookin at the trail grapple also .
