ok so i have 305x40r22 on my truck right now, i know its a low profile tire but i will soon be taking the drop of my truck and going with a lift. now my question is can a rim size 22x11 with a 0 offset look right once i lift my truck? im planning on doing a 6" lift on 35s or 37s....

It seems like a lot of guys who run at least a 10" wide rim with a 6" lift have 4.5 BS. Offset is different. I'm not sure what 0 offset equates to.

The wheels are zero offset, that's the only way I can run the same rims now while the truck is dropped and later when the truck is lifted. I kno its going to be an aggressive look now but I just cant picture of it.. Does anyone have a picture of something alike?
Find out what the back space is. It may work, but will be very close. If the inside the rim goes in to far with a 13.5" tire it will rub against the front knuckles. Can you post a picture of how the wheel fits on the truck now? Everyone is intitled to there own opinion, but I personally don't like a wheel that sticks in the fenders on a lifted truck. It makes the truck look tall and skinny. If you look at the albums of my F-150 I had you'll see I ran a 22x11 wheel with a -24mm offset. The wheels stuck out giving it a more aggressive look.
well the rims are not on the truck... the thing is, i got into an accident and the insurance company is only giving me 1000$ towards the 2 rims and 2 tires that broke during the accident. now i am taking the 1000 and buying a whole new set of rims that i can fit now (while the truck is dropped) and later (when i get it lifted). the truck has 22x10 with 305x40r22 and im using the 2 good tires that didnt break during the accident for the new set of wheels. with that being said, i can fit a 22x11 on the same tire (305x40r22) with a 0 offset. i just dont know what the truck will look like now when its dropped.

I did some checking on the offsets today. I have an F150 with 9 inches of lift running a 20in wheel with 35 offset. I hate that it sits in so much I am looking at going with an 18 offset. Not sure about 0 that would stick out a ton... but I'm sure you can do it. Call a tire place to make sure. Probably best to go with an off road tire guy.
with a 0 offset and a 10 inch wheel you will have 5 inches behind the hub and 5 inches sticking out from the hub. Mine is a 35 so I have 35 extra mm's or 3.5cms extra behind where the wheel is bolted to the hub. So mine sits more under my truck. If I do the math right... mine is 5.38 behind the hub and 3.12 inches in front of the hub. Since I have a 9 inch wheel. Yours will stick out quite a bit more than mine... like 2 inches more than mine but my tire guy offered me a wheel today with a 0 offset... and I would think that if I could run a 38 13.50 on a 9 inche lift with a zero offset, that a 3/4 ton could also...ask your tire guy.
^^^^You're forgetting to take in consideration the thickness of the wheel face. You won't have 5" on each side. You have the center on the wheel that's 1" thick. You have to also include that thickness which would put it at 4.5" on each side.
