How to tell if my Expeition has TPMS?
I have a 2004 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4 and I'm about to order wheels for it in the next few minutes. How do I tell if it has the TPMS sensors? Do I have to order wheels that will take the TPMS sensors or are they the same as every wheel? Thanks.
Not true. Expeditions had TPMS before the F150 did. Just can't remember what year it happened.
Edit - Just found this. It is for a 2003-2009 Expedition.

It is the valve stem type, but not the same as the F150.

In 2004 the Expedition came either way. I would say get the VIN# and have the dealer run it to see what you have, or you can let some air out and drive on it and see if the warning comes on. I would let out at least 5 psi in 1 of them.

I believe that the gov required it in vehicles under a specific GVW before 2007. However, that GVW changed to include light trucks in 2007.
