2.5" levelling kit installed now what

I've got the levelling kit installed and now its time for some good all around tires. With the winters unpredictable in toronto i need a tire that is good in snow, the truck came with the 275/55R20 scorpions and i must says not a very good tire. I'm thinking about the BF KO but what size

Seems like the happy go lucky size is 305/55R20=33.2" but it looks like we can go a bit bigger guys. The service guy mentioned a 285/65R20=34.6" being that the tire is narrower but taller he said it will fit.

Does anybody know anything about the 285/65R20 or have more input on this, winter is coming and my tire are bald, i need to figure this out soon. theres also a Nitto 295/60R20=33.9" but not to crazy about that tire

any pics? Yeah 285/65/20s will fit. BFGs look really good. NCSU 05 FX4 used to have that exact setup. In fact, Im pretty sure he kept those tires when he put his Rancho 4" on

choices choices

Thanks i really appriciate it

Its not like i have a ton of choices and yet I can't reassure myself as to go with the 305 55 20 or 285 65 20

I know that the height of the 285 will be noticable compared to the 305 but can we really notice the dif between the width its just shy of an inch 20mm

I think I should go for the extra height the 285s

Go with 285's and check out the general grabber at 2 it is severe winter rated tire and is not really that expensive.

The 285/65-20 is basically a 35x11.50 tire. They fit fine using the OEM wheels.

Thanks guys

I went to my local National 4WD dealer and rolled out a 35" by 12.5 and it dosen't look like its going to fit with a 2.5" levelling kit. the guy said that they just did one and they had to trim the fron valance and the tire rubbed at full lock. so its either 285/65/20 or just bit the bullit and get a 4" or 6" lift.

I know that the 305 or more aggressive then the stock but over height is just an inch. the 295/60/20 ( 34" ) is perfect but it only comes in the nitto grappler and im not big on it. I really the bf a/t KO. anyone running the mickey thompson atz in the winter i was told their not that great

I would go with the 285's. Will be a good fit and look nice.
