Falken High Country A/T???

Falken High Country A/T???

Anyone have any experience with these tires? (Ride, tread wear, etc.)
Ive been shopping around for a while and cant decide. Im looking at the LT285/70R17 to put on my stock rims.

I haven't had them myself but a few guys I know like them they say it gets good traction. Four wheeler mag gave the a good review as well. Another tire which I am currently running that you should check out is the general grabber at 2. It is an awesome tire for the money.

So this thread now is about 6months old, and I was wondering if anyone has any updates on their experience with the Falken stuff. I'm looking to do a "budget build" for my son's Ford Ranger and this tire is among the least expensive ones I've found that meet my criteria. So if anyone has anything they'd like to share, I'd super appreciate it.

Scblurxc I did check Four Wheeler and the only Falken review I've been able to find is on the Wild Peak AT which is a slightly different design.

FYI: Other options I've been pondering are the:
Cooper Discoverer ATR + $8/per tire
Hankook Dynapro AT + $9/per tire
Toyo Open Country AT + $25/per tire

my dad just put a set on his gmc 2500 diesel (275/65/16) and they look like a good AT
