new 2" AS with 275/70/18 shoes

Finally got tires and leveler after the stockers wore out.

2007 Screw before:

By txturtle07 at 2010-11-07

After with BFG A/T 33.2" tall

Thanks bud. I had narrowed it down to the 305/65/18 BFG, 305/60/18, and 275/70/18. I found that the 275 was cheaper (by a lot), wore more evenly due to the narrow stock rims, and didn't hurt performance. I couldn't even tell a difference in acceleration but they are stiffer (e-load). I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

I'm running 3.73 with the 4.6L

looks great, big improvement! more i see that size more i think i will go that direction....really do fill out the wheel wells

It's too bad I didn't get a picture before the tires were mounted. The ~1" in tire really does make an impressive difference (unexpected). The tire guy pulled the "why you gettin E-loads put on this thing, it don't need em... now my diesel blah blah blah." In the end he realized that my money was as good as anyone else's and mentioned how much he liked it after they were mounted.

Those look great! cant wait for mine. I see its snowing where you are, we also just got our first snowfall of the year. Tires handle the snow well??

Looks good! Would that work on a 2wd, with a 2" AS level as well?
