New Terra Grappler Pics
New Terra Grappler Pics
I had to replace my worn out 275/65 R18 stock GY's on my 08 FX4. I went with the 295/70 R18 Terra Grap's. I went back and forth for over a month trying to decide which tire, and size to go with. It was a tough decision with that much money on the line, for me anyways.
My truck has a ProComp leveling kit installed, and to me the truck looks to be slightly taller in the front, I may do somehting to raise the rear an inch or so in the future, the slope in my driveway doesn't show it in these pics. Regardless, I really like the look of these 34" tires in the wheel well, and the extra inch of height overall on the whole truck. I was told that these tires would not rub, but they did once when I was backing out of a parking space yesterday. It was very minor, and until it does it a few times I could not even tell you exactly where it was rubbing. It rides so nice with 45 psi, but I do feel that "floating" feeling on the hwy someone mentioned on my other post.
Thanks to all who answered all of my questions recently while I was trying to decide!

About time!!!! JK. Looks good. Amazing what a set of tires can do for a truck.
I've got the 2" AutoSpring spacers on the front of mine. 4 months now and no rubbing what-so-ever. Same tail-dragging issue as you. I'm putting in 3" ReadyLift blocks on Saturday. I'll post before and after pics this weekend. That may be the route you want to go. I was gonna do an add-a-leaf, but didn't want to sacrifice ride quality. So these blocks should be the answer. Probably gonna add AirLift Ride Control bags on later.
Two thumbs up,
David
